We have spent years supplying business technology including laptops, monitors, docking stations, headsets, keyboards and other workplace equipment.
One thing kept standing out.
Buying a complete workstation for every employee can be expensive.
A business might need a laptop, monitor, dock, keyboard, mouse and headset before a new employee has even completed their first day. Multiply that across a growing team and a significant amount of cash can quickly become tied up in equipment.
At the same time, traditional IT procurement can be unnecessarily complicated. Businesses are often faced with huge product catalogues, confusing specifications and equipment that does not necessarily work well together.

When you build a setup, you can see the monthly rental cost as equipment is added or changed.
Prices are shown clearly and rental pricing is displayed excluding VAT where applicable.
There should be no need to request a quote simply to find out roughly what a workstation will cost.
For larger or more specialised requirements, our team can also help build a custom setup.
05New and refurbished equipment
DeskStack may supply equipment in New or Refurbished – Excellent condition depending on the product and available stock.
We believe good business technology should continue being useful for as long as possible.
High-quality refurbished business equipment can offer excellent performance while reducing unnecessary waste and significantly lowering the cost of deploying workplace technology.
Rental equipment is checked before dispatch and refurbished equipment may show minor signs of previous use while remaining fully functional.
06Equipment that works together
A workstation is more than just a laptop.
That is why DeskStack is built around the complete setup.
We aim to make it easier to combine compatible laptops, monitors, docks and accessories so businesses can create practical workstations without having to research every connection and specification individually.
For example, many of our setups can be configured around USB-C docking or hub monitors, allowing compatible laptops to connect to a workstation using a single cable.
07Support when equipment goes wrong
Technology occasionally fails.
For covered rental equipment that develops a qualifying fault, we aim to dispatch replacement equipment on the next working day once the issue has been confirmed and a replacement is appropriate.
This is a next-working-day dispatch aim rather than a guaranteed courier delivery time.
The goal is simple: minimise the amount of time your employee is unable to work because of failed equipment.
08Delivery
Standard UK delivery is free on purchases through DeskStack, unless otherwise stated.
For rental orders, standard UK delivery is free where the total monthly rental value is £15.00 or more excluding VAT.

09PAT testing
Where applicable, electrical rental equipment is safety checked and PAT tested as appropriate before dispatch.
Not every type of device requires PAT testing, but where it is applicable we include it as part of preparing rental equipment for use.
10Built for real businesses
DeskStack is not designed around forcing every customer through exactly the same setup.
A two-person company hiring its first employee has very different requirements from a business rolling out 30 workstations.
Our aim is to keep the online process quick for straightforward requirements while still allowing our team to help when an order needs a more considered approach.
That might include:
unusual equipment requirements;
multiple employees;
different workstation configurations;
direct-to-employee delivery;
larger deployments;
additional monitors;
higher-performance laptops; or
help choosing compatible equipment.
11Responsible rental
Because DeskStack equipment remains our property during a rental, we carry out reasonable checks before approving rental applications.
Depending on the business and the value of the equipment requested, this may include checking company information and asking for additional verification.
Newly incorporated businesses or higher-value applications may sometimes be asked to provide additional information, a deposit or a personal guarantee.
We try to keep these checks proportionate while protecting the equipment that enables us to offer the rental service.
